distributed reporting toolkit
The distributed reporting toolkit (diretto) is a versatile solution for distributed on-site media reporting and collaborative event coverage in real-time. It was originally a students project at the University of Ulm and is now open source. I'm maintaining the platform's RESTful API and backend web services.
UlmAPI
A local community targeting the collection of open data related to the city of Ulm. We want to provide data visualizations as well as helpful web-based services for citizens.

Having a strong background in Java, I am interested in other technologies as well. This includes technologies related to web engineering, distributed systems, mobile applications and user interfaces.
I am especially interested in alternative approaches towards concurrency, multi-core programming and scalability. In a similiar way I am keen on non-relational database systems.
